Hard to believe the holidays are over! It is amazing how it takes months to get ready, and only minutes for it to be over! Santa found the Schofield house, he brought the kids everything they wanted and a lot that they didn't know they wanted. Kaity got an I-Touch, and a reborn baby! Brody, a PSP, and a gun, and Abby, a kitchen, and a baby. The kids were so well behaved the week before, it is to bad we don't have "Santa is watching" all through t
he year! ;-) It was a fun Christmas with Abby, she actually understood everything, and was so excited!!!There was really only one damper on the season, my mom's best friend unexpectedly passed away, and her funeral was on Christmas Eve. We spent
so much time with her family when we were growing up, her kids are having such a hard time, I can't even imagine what they are going through, I would not be the same person without my mom! It was so sad, but really put everything in perspective. I realized how precious life is, and how we should just savor every moment. It also makes you realize it isn't the gifts that matter, it is just the time that we spend with one another!!
